I am slowly but surely realising a lot about my partner. We are in a long distance relationship so it's not so easy-as we dont get to see each other too often and there have been times when I have sometimes taken his certain behaviour/mannerisms to heart in the beginning but now I have come to realise that this is just part of him and not to take offense as thats not the way that it is meant. We are still getting to know eachother and I am still learning a lot about him but ...he is honest as they come and expects total honest feedback in return. The key for any relationship to work is communication. He loves deep chats and needs to be stimulated, intellectually (and its a whole lot more than 'sexually'...i.e the 'meeting of minds') He likes balance in his life, and 'me time' to do his own thing. (Dont go too quiet and let him do all the talking or a Libran man will tend to get frustrated if he does not get any comeback!) He has so many more women friends than men friends but I am now totally comfortable with that fact and trust him completely and that is down to the fact that we are able to talk about things well before anything is likely to become an issue (which is even more important as we are far from eachother) We dont speak every day and sometimes not even every other, and again, at first I wasnt sure how to take this, wondering how he really felt about me?...but the more I get to know him and his ways, the more I understand him. He has a job which takes him all over the country and works very long hours so I appreciate the fact that he may not want to talk every day! Its all about having balance in life, understanding and not taking too much to heart.. By his own admission, he is not the most patient person and says that my extreme patience is one of the ways that opposites can work so well together! I believe that any starsign can be a player and likewise any starsign can be 100% totally committed. You just have to take time to get to know the person underneath and it goes way beyond scratching the surface, and will take time but if the relationship has any hope of lasting...take time to get to know the real person and work with it...it's worth it and you may just find that you find out a lot about yourself (and the way in which you percieve things) along the way...I know I have -and still am doing!! He would use everything and anything he had against me, and somehow make me feel sorry for him or partly to blame! If I didnt agree he would in a sense attack me and make me feel bad and like a horrible person, even using, as someone commented on hear as well, words to hurt me about my family and my own worth....I ask myself Why in the world did I stick around for sooo long?? The answer: Libra men have a sneaky way of using words and promises to make you forgive them and believe them. My libra man did not, and i dont think will,ever change. I know he cared about me, but he also loved and almost seemed to crave the attention of other women, and he never ever wanted to be alone. If it wasnt me around he would move right on to the next, immediately. Or if I couldnt be there for some reason, he seemed so needy like he had to have someone, anyone around.... I could never understand how he could love me and do that?? I never will understand.....and i dont think i should have to understand and waste any more of my time and patience trying to analyze why he is the way he is.... maybe it is because he is a Libra man??? it has to be because everyone else seems to have had the same experiences with these guys.... we still talk, but are no longer living together as we were. It has been 3 months since we last split and already he is texting numerous women and using words such as " sweet cheeks" "baby" "babydoll" etc..... it seems maybe he was talking to these other women even when we were still together, sometimes having the nerve to do it in front of me then lie about who it is he is texting..... i know the truth though. It might take some time, but after reading all the comments and realizing he may NEVER be able to change , i am trying my hardest to move on , i will still be his friend and maybe even help him out if he really needs it, because he always calls, even when he says he doesnt want me anymore, he will call and beg me for another chance and tell me he wants me and only me, then go right back to his ways, but i have to be in control and let him go.... what a relief to know i am not the only one who has realized this type of man....
